Black Canyon Hike

For MLK day we went hiking near Black Canyon City. It was so stunning, the amazing desert landscape and the tall, tall cactus! The hike went down into a river bed, a real natural flowing river!! It is the first natural running water I have seen since moving here...

A fancy night out

Last weekend, Weston tells me that we are going out and that I should dress up real nice. I should also dress Cora up too. We get in the car and things are still a surprise, so I am blindfolded. I am thinking to myself, I hope Weston knows you are not supposed to take babies to really nice places... but I am way excited to be dressed up:) I get out of the car and get to look. We are at Chick-fil-a! We order our food and Weston pulls out two wine glasses out of the diaper bag, sets the table!! Oh my goodness! This photo is from Cora's bath time later that night, still dressed up:) Good Life!

snow! SNow! SNOW!

After Christmas we went up to the Packard's cabin at Bear Lake. It was wonderful and snowy!

Getting some saucercise and spending quality time with Mick

We also went sledding (in Bountiful)... yes it looked about like this:)

Cora's Baby Blessing

Like mother like daughter, I can't believe how much we look alike!
This is Cora Pearl on her blessing day. She wore the same dress I wore on my
blessing day and also the pearls I wore on my wedding day :)

Sedona

For Thanksgiving, Weston's family came down to celebrate and adventure. We went to Sedona, it was my first time there and man was it beautiful!! They went for a mountain bike while the girl and I walked the trail.

Family Photos

I make Weston go and take pictures in this same spot every November:) This was a particularly beautiful night in the Sonoran Desert.

A big thanks to the Earls for taking these photos for us!!
